1/365 - Morning Check-in
Check in with yourself, first thing in the morning.
Before you can take a first step, it helps to know where you're at. Begin each day by checking in and asking yourself, "How do I feel?" It's troubling to think how unintentional I was with this simple step. I used to either jump out of bed in the morning, or grab my phone and scroll around through texts, emails and social media, basically picking up where I had left off the night before. Sometimes I'd be driving to work before I'd ever realize I had a low-grade headache or stiffness in my neck. We are so conditioned to GO GO GO. You deserve time to assess your own body each day before you offer your time and energy to others, so check in with yourself first!
